-          It must be off the beaten track and therefore not somewhere in a city centre or town with over 10k population.

-          Your location cannot be somewhere that is already very highly rated – we are looking for hidden gems not your local chain fast food resturant! 

-          Your location has to be somewhere with a standout feature, such as a breathtaking location, a famous local dish, or an unforgettable experience.

-          Try and make the location as local to YOU as possible – we want to get local suggestions from local people!

-          If you can, notify the location and let them know you’ll be putting them forward as an #OffRoadEats guide location. 

Terms and Conditions

By participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and any other requirements set out in the promotional material. Keep a copy for your records.

Eligibility

1. Submissions open to UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) residents aged 18+ years with a valid email address. 
2. The Promoter reserves the right to challenge the eligibility of any submission selected for reposting. Reposting will only proceed once proof of eligibility has been provided. 
3. No purchase is necessary. 
4. No physical or monetary prize will be awarded; selected entrants will have their submission reposted on the Promoter’s social media channels.

Campaign Period

1. Submissions will be accepted from 12:00 Monday 14th July 2025 to 12:00 12th September 2025. 
2. The Promoter will contact selected entrants within 3 days of content posting to ask for permission to repost. Reposting will cease at 12:00 on 12th September 2025.

How to Submit your #OffRoadEats suggestion

Entry on @generaltire4x4 Instagram page, or @generaltireUK Facebook page only. If posting, you must include the hashtag #OffRoadEats and tag @generaltire4x4 on Instagram or @generaltireUK on Facebook (Meta). Alternatively, entrants can send submissions directly to the Promoter via Facebook or Instagram. Entrants may also comment on any #OffRoadEats post, and the Promoter will add their suggestion to a vote among GT followers. Top-voted locations may feature in the next season of #OffRoadEats.

Content Requirements

By entering, you confirm that:

- Your content is your original creation and does not infringe any third-party rights. 
- You have permission from anyone featured in the content. 
- Your content is not defamatory, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate. 
- Your entry complies with Instagram’s or Facebook’s terms of use.

Your content must meet these requirements to be entered.

Rights Granted by You

By submitting content with the hashtag #OffRoadEats, you grant Continental Tyre Group a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, reproduce, repost, share, adapt, publish, and display the content in connection with this campaign and future marketing on any media platform.

Selection process

Entrants will be selected as per the selection criteria outlined on the General Tire website. The Promoter reserves the right to select successful entries. All decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.  

Notification

The Promoter will notify you if your submission has been selected and request permission before reposting. You may refuse permission at this stage.

Disqualification

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry that:

- Breaches these terms. 
- Is suspected of being fraudulent. 
- Includes inappropriate content or infringes on Instagram’s or Facebook’s policies.
